Well, as a mature adult I would have to agree with the last sentence. Ibiza is known for it's crazy party scene, however, there is a side to this Mediterranean island that takes your breath away. It is not just the scenery but also the laid-back attitude of the locals (many who seems to be Argentinean, Uruguayan, German or Dutch mind you!).
We came across crescent-shaped calas (coves) with rickety old timber jetties protruding out into the bay. The beaches were picture-postcard locations where pure unpolluted waters reflected the sun. Inlets sliced from the cliffs to form natural harbours of translucent azure water so important to local fishermen, who use it as a place to store and launch their boats. Small villages nestled among the orange, lemon and olive groves on precipitous terraces.
All this a world away from the crowded main beach in high summer. Oh, and don't get me started on the Jamon Iberico, the Paella, the Calamari, the Tinto de Verano and the Sangria...
Spectacular view
Should I jump?
The view from my bedroom
A typical fisher port
Another one hidden away
I just can't get enough of them
Need to pee?!?
Chill out and enjoy!
A lost mermaid?
Even the cats are laid-back on this island
My spot!
Off for a ride!
Dinner

The town of Ibiza
Romance is in the air!
